Star of the North Sauna:
And, if all of this is too much
activity for you, relax in our
community sauna open to private
residents and guests. It’s
an old fashioned, classic Finnish
sauna located on the south end
of the property in a restored
70-year-old log cabin operating
here since the 1930's.
The Star of the North Sauna is
large enough to accommodate
a group of 8-10 people. The
sauna is complete with a shower
room and changing area for those
who feel compelled to take the
short jaunt down the cobblestone
steps to the beach and jump
in the lake for a refreshing
plunge! We dare you to take
a plunge and then heat things
back up in the sauna. Finally,
cool down by taking an outdoor
shower overlooking Big Blue. |

at our sister hotel - Surfside
on Lake Superior. The pools
boast Lake Superior views and
changing facilities. The pool
