of Surfside on
Temperance Landing
Road.
The off season hours
of the Surfside Guest Service building are:
- Friday Noon - 8pm
- Saturday 8am - 8pm
- Sunday 8am - 2pm
The summer hours of the Surfside Guest Service building
are:
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm
- Friday - Sunday 8am - 8pm
All other times guests will check in at our sister
resort, Bluefin Bay, located 3/4 miles north of Surfside.

and we have attended
to the details
to make your
stay a memorable
one. For example,
the kitchen is
fully furnished
with state-of-the-art
appliances –
including a dishwasher
and coffee maker,
as well as pots
and pans, and
dish and glassware
for your entertaining
pleasure. Each
room has distinctive
designer furnishings
and accents,
even candles.
All linens are
provided.
We recommend that
you bring any
food and condiments
you plan to use;
personal toiletries;
and your favorite
books, DVD’s
(although you
can rent DVD’s
also) and board
games. You may
want to bring
a beach towel
if you are planning
on using our
community sauna
and taking a
dip in the lake! |

mile from Temperance
Landing also
has a liquor
store.
There are a few
larger groceries
in the area:
Zups is located
about 26 miles
south of Temperance
Landing in Silver
Bay. And, Grand
Marais (about
30 miles North
of Temperance
Landing) has
two full service
groceries –
Gene’s
Foods (IGA) and
Johnson’s
Foods. Grand
Marais also has
a Whole Foods

to deliver additional
linens and amenities
until 10:00 pm
